Turboprop Charter in Brownsburg

For a regional trip with a small group, a turboprop is often all you need. We quote the aircraft that fits the distance and the runway, explain plainly when a jet would serve you better, and hand you one all-inclusive number before you commit.

When a turboprop is the right aircraft

A turboprop spins its propeller with a jet turbine. The cabin is pressurized, it typically seats six to nine passengers, and it cruises a bit slower than a light jet. Over an hour or two in the air, that gap seldom costs you more than a few minutes.

Each quote begins with what your trip really requires. When a turboprop handles the distance with ease, it is our first suggestion, since paying for speed or range you will not use makes no sense. When the route is long, the group is big or headwinds would force a fuel stop, we say so and price a light jet or larger aircraft.

Turboprops are also comfortable on short runways, so you may land at a smaller airport nearer your destination instead of a busier one farther away.

What comes with a turboprop charter

An aircraft that suits the trip

Before naming an aircraft we check the headcount, luggage, distance and the runway where you land. We explain the pick and what stepping up one size would get you.

Part 135 carriers only

FAA-certified Part 135 air carriers fly every trip. We set up the charter; the operator flies the aircraft and keeps it maintained.

A single all-inclusive figure

The quote includes the aircraft, crew, fuel and the usual fees for your route. Nothing hidden appears once you are on the ground.

Priced point to point

Headed one way to a meeting or a family gathering, you are charged point to point pricing. A one-way flight is never billed at round trip pricing.

Pets and WIFI

Pets are allowed, so your dog can sit in the cabin with you. If you want to work in the air, ask about WIFI equipped aircraft and we will say which turboprops have it on your date.

When a turboprop is a good match

You are flying regionally
Trips of a few hundred miles are where turboprops do best. Go much farther and a jet's speed begins to justify the price.
A small party
Four to eight people with ordinary bags fit comfortably. Bring up golf bags or equipment cases on the call so we can check the cargo room.
You are landing at a small airport
Some jets cannot use a short runway that a turboprop handles easily, which can spare you a long drive on arrival.
Price counts more than a few minutes
Turboprops usually use less fuel per hour than jets. If landing fifteen minutes later is no problem, you can save real money.
You have to leave soon
Our phones are answered 24/7 for urgent trips. We see which turboprops are in position to go and tell you straight what is available.

How we set up a turboprop flight

  1. 1

    Call us about the trip

Let us know the destination, the date and who is coming. We will ask about luggage, pets and any times that are fixed.

  2. 2

    A straight aircraft recommendation

If a turboprop handles the trip, we suggest it. If a light jet charter or midsize jet charter fits better for range, speed or cabin space, we explain why.

  3. 3

    Your all-inclusive price

You receive a single price for the flight that names the operator and aircraft. We book nothing until you give the go-ahead.

  4. 4

    Flight day

Get to the FBO a little before takeoff, meet the crew and step aboard with no terminal lines. Your bags go right to the aircraft, and you leave when you planned to.

What changes the cost of a turboprop trip

A turboprop price is mainly time in the air plus the costs that come with your route. After five years in business quoting these flights, we find the items below explain almost every difference. Your quote rolls them into one all-inclusive figure.

How far and how long
The hourly cost of running the aircraft is the biggest part. Headwinds that day can make a westbound flight longer.
Where the aircraft starts
When the closest suitable turboprop must fly in from another airport, that repositioning time may be charged. A one-way trip lined up with an empty leg flight can bring it down.
Waiting and overnight stays
Holding the aircraft and crew for a next-day return brings crew lodging and fees. Two one-way quotes can sometimes cost less, and we will lay them side by side.
Airport and FBO charges
Each airport sets its own landing, parking and handling fees. Smaller airports tend to charge less.
When you fly and how busy it is
Holiday weekends and major event dates squeeze availability. Booking earlier leaves us more aircraft to pick from.

Questions about turboprop charter

Are turboprops as safe as jets?
For charter, both fly under the same Part 135 rules, which set the same standards for pilots, maintenance and operations. Turboprop engines have a long history of dependability. Your quote names the operator, so you know who will fly you.
Is a turboprop noisy or rough?
The cabin is pressurized and insulated, so ordinary conversation works fine. Turboprops fly at lower altitudes than most jets, so you may feel a bit more movement in choppy weather. Most passengers are comfortable on short regional trips.
What is a turboprop's nonstop range?
That depends on the model, the weight on board and the winds. Many can go well past a normal regional trip without stopping, though a full cabin and strong headwinds shorten it. If your route needs a fuel stop, we tell you and quote a jet alongside.
Is my dog allowed?
Yes. Pets can fly, and most sit in the cabin with you. Tell us the size and breed when you call so we can check with the operator.
What if the aircraft develops a mechanical issue?
The operator searches for a replacement aircraft. Mechanical insurance pays up to 100% of the replacement flight cost, and we explain how it works for your trip when we quote.
